Objective

A course is intended for the navigation officers of workings on the vessels with displacement more than 100.000 tons and the vessels with non-standard manoeuvring.

Entry standards

No any special requirements.

Program

In accordance with IMO Model Course 1.22 "Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork", 7.01 "Master and Chief Mate".

Equipment

TRANSAS NAVI-TRAINER PRO-3000 ship handling simulator with a fully equipped bridge, including instruments showing course, speed, rudder angle, rate of turn, engine RPM and propeller pitch and relative wind direction and speed plus 3 visualisation channels are used for training. 10 different ship's models in use are similar size and manoeuvring characteristics to the ships in which trainees will serve.
